You're looking for an experienced, supportive psychologist who takes the time to understand what is happening and works collaboratively to develop practical ways forward. As an adult, you may be experiencing anxiety, low mood, stress, difficulties with confidence or self-esteem, negative thinking, neurodivergence, or navigating a challenging period or transition in your life. For parents, Janine's extensive experience with children and adolescents may be particularly valuable if your child is struggling with anxiety, low mood, confidence, big emotions, negative thinking, ADHD, Autism, learning difficulties or school-related stress. Janine's Approach Janine is passionate about helping people feel heard, understood and supported. She works collaboratively with clients and families, tailoring therapy to the individual and the challenges they are experiencing. Her therapeutic work is evidence-based and draws particularly upon Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and psychoeducation. Her extensive experience in educational settings and supporting people with disabilities also gives her a valuable understanding of how emotional wellbeing, relationships, family life, learning and broader environments can interact. Cognitive & Educational Assessments Alongside her therapeutic work, Janine has particular expertise in cognitive and educational assessments for children and young people. An assessment may be helpful when a child is struggling academically, isn't progressing at school as expected, appears to learn differently from their peers, or when parents and educators would like a clearer understanding of their cognitive and learning strengths and areas where additional support may be helpful. The aim is to help families better understand how their child learns and provide meaningful information and recommendations that can help guide appropriate support. Clinical Supervision Janine is also a Board-Approved Supervisor and enjoys supporting provisional psychologists as they work towards registration. Appointments In-person at Willow Tree Psychology & Wellbeing in Felixstow, Adelaide, with Telehealth available Australia-wide where clinically appropriate. www.willowtreepsychology.com.au | 08 82330828 | info@willowtreepsychology.com.au
