Dr. Pani earned her MBBS in India and completed postgraduate training in Internal Medicine in the UK and Australia. She holds a Master of Medicine in Perioperative Medicine from Monash University and is a Graduate Chapter member of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists.
With clinical experience across acute care and chronic disease management—including heart failure, high blood pressure, chronic lung disorders, medicine reconciliation, diabetic foot, vascular ulcers, and chronic wounds—Dr.Pani delivers comprehensive, compassionate care informed by training in three countries. She has a strong interest in perioperative medicine and collaborates closely with surgeons to optimize surgical outcomes.
As the medical lead of the Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging Committee, she advocates for improved healthcare access for culturally and linguistically diverse communities.
Her interests also include preventive medicine, particularly in obesity, cardiovascular disease, metabolic syndrome, COPD, diabetes, elderly care and preventative mental health disorders.
