Overview

Dr Dinh is a Clinical Psychologist and Board-approved supervisor with unconditional registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency. She has a Bachelor of Science Psychology with First Class Honours and a Doctor of Philosophy in Clinical Psychology from the Australian National University. Her research dissertation explored the relationship between personality and positive psychology including examination of the impact of personality and gratitude on well-being. She is interested in assisting her clients to achieve positive mental health and well-being. She applies a personalised approach to her treatment program following an initial thorough assessment of her client’s needs and problem situation. She has over 15 years of experience in clinical psychology and has worked with clients with a wide range of problem presentations including occupation/career, relationships and family issues, and mental health. She has worked with people across the lifespan and is skilled in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Acceptance-Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Interpersonal Therapy, and Brief Solution-Focused Therapy. Dr Dinh also conducts comprehensive psychological assessments and has prepared reports for criminal, vocational, compensation, mental health, personality, cognitive capacity, and family matters. She is currently not taking on new referrals.
