Dr Stefanie Badenhorst Psychologist

Dr Stefanie Badenhorst (D Litt) is a psychologist in private practice in Stellenbosch, Western Cape, South Africa. She was a part time lecturer in the Educational Psychology Department at Stellenbosch University. Being passionate about hypnosis, she obtained her diplomat status from the Milton H. Erickson Institute of South Africa. She is the founder member and director of the Milton H Erickson Institute of Stellenbosch. She presents training in hypnosis and Ego State Therapy in the Western Cape. She was previously the chairperson of the South African Society for Clinical Hypnosis, in the Western Cape area, and has published a number of articles on the topic of hypnosis and regularly presents conference papers at national as well as international level. Encouraged by Gordon Emmerson (Ph D), she is the founder member of the first Ego State Training Unit in South Africa. She developed courses in Advanced Techniques with Childhood Trauma and the Role of Psychology in Forensic Work.
