There are times in our lives that things don’t feel quite right, during this time we may feel alone in our struggle. sometimes reaching out for extra little support makes all the difference. I am passionate about being able to provide a safe, non-judgmental and compassionate space where you can feel supported and understood and experience healing and change. I try to provide you a warm and engaging space to be able to process your difficulties and learn effective tools for improving where things are at for you. Dr Shyva, is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). She has completed a Master’s in Clinical Psychology and Ph.D in Clinical-Health psychology. work collaboratively with my clients and use evidence-based therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and MetaCognitive Therapy (MCT) and IPT (interpersonal therapy). I also use an integrative approach when suitable to help people achieve their goals. In addition, as a clinical-health psychologist I am trained and experienced helping people to cope with physical and emotional consequences of cancer and other medical chronic conditions such as (diabetes, Obesity, etc) and enhance their quality of life. Dr. Shyva, has 8 years of experience working with a wide range of clients experiencing emotional, social, behavioural and mental health difficulties. Dr. Shyva’s special interests are depression, stress and anxiety, grief, and relationship issues.
