Opting for a generalist pathway during her advanced training, Dr Shoba developed a comprehensive understanding of psychopathology across a broad spectrum of clinical presentations, populations, and settings. Her diverse experience spans: • Young Adults: Headspace and eating disorder units. • Adults: Acute and rehabilitation services (inpatient, emergency, and community settings). • Geriatrics: Specialized care in various settings. Specialization in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Among these varied subspecialties, Dr Shoba discovered a strong affinity for Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMH). This field particularly resonated due to the opportunity to untangle the complexities and uniqueness of individual young patient presentations and the profoundly effective outcomes of early, tailored interventions.
