Rachelle is a kind and compassionate Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) and Credentialed Eating Disorder Clinician (CEDC), with over 20 years experience in research and clinical practice. From working in a variety of health-care settings, Rachelle has developed specialised expertise and a passion for supporting adults with mental health disorders, eating disorders and disordered eating.
Rachelle has advanced training and skills in nutrition counselling, delivering person-centred, trauma-informed care, using a non-judgmental, caring and empathic approach. Rachelle uses a non-diet, weight-inclusive approach to health management, with the aim of supporting clients improve their relationship with food, eating and their body.
With a strong background in nutrition-related research, Rachelle strives to remain abreast of the most up-to-date scientific literature and be at the forefront of nutrition knowledge. Whilst drawing on up-to-date evidence in sessions with clients, Rachelle makes sure to translate the science into user-friendly, practical strategies to suit each individual's lifestyle and unique situation. Rachelle aims to empower and support her clients engage in health behaviour changes that are directly aligned with their desired goals, such as working towards improvements in physical health and mental well-being.
