Dr Patrick Pheasant is a registered Counsellor, Coach, Consultant and lifelong educator. After seven years in the role of Chief Executive Officer of an Australian charity and 25 years in senior management roles in English language education and corporate training in Australia, Japan, The Netherlands and the United States, Dr Pheasant supports individuals and organisations to achieve positive and transformational change. His research and practice areas include international education and training, language education, process drama, psychodrama, dramatherapy, trauma-informed therapy and teaching. Dr Pheasant specialises in Addictions Counselling, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy and Strength-Based Therapy. Offering online or onsite services in Haymarket Sydney and Coolum Beach on the Sunshine Coast, Dr Pheasant supports LGBTIQA+ professionals and allies throughout Australia through onsite and online 1:1 counselling, coaching and therapy, group therapy, workshops and retreats, professional and executive coaching and organisational transformation. Dr Pheasant is a PACFA Reg. Certified Practising Counsellor and registered Counsellor with the Australian Counselling Association. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Education & Social Work and two Masters in Counselling and Education.
