Overview

Dr Keogh is a clinical psychologist who brings a warm and empathic style to the therapeutic relationship. Dr Keogh specialises in the clinical assessment and treatment of a range of psychological conditions in children (5-12yrs), teenagers and adults, including: - Anxiety disorders such as generalised anxiety, social phobia, post-traumatic stress disorder, panic disorder, separation anxiety disorder and OCD; - Mood disorders including depression and dysthymia, and bereavement issues; - Eating disorders including bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, anorexia nervosa and EDNOS; - Couples counselling and relationship issues; - Childhood anxiety, depression and behavioural disorders such as AD/HD and Opposiitonal Defiant Disorder (ODD); - Sleep Disorders; - Anger management, and; - Stress management, Assertiveness Training and Self Esteem issues With over 14 years’ experience in the fields of psychology and human services Dr Keogh also consults for Australian Doctor at The University of Melbourne, educating General Practitioners on the assessment and treatment of mental health issues across the lifespan. As a full member of the Australian Psychological Society and College of Clinical Psychologists Dr Keogh is regularly called upon for psychological comment on a range of issues for the Australian radio, print, television and online media. Her most recent work as a Commercial Media Consultant includes Spokesperson and Expert Psychologist roles for clients such as 20th CENTURY FOX (Gone Girl DVD Release), Mi9 (JumpIn App), Singapore Tourism Board and SLEEPMAKER.
