Overview

Lisa is a Clinical Psychologist with a particular interest in supporting children and young people who are experiencing mental health difficulties. Lisa’s approach emphasises the importance of establishing a trusting relationship with clients and on being explicit and collaborative in understanding problems and developing treatment plans to address these. Lisa draws on evidence based therapeutic modalities including Mentalization based treatments and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. Lisa provides assessment and treatment for children and young people who may be struggling with emotional and behavioural problems including anxiety, depression and/or relational difficulties. Lisa works closely with parents to enhance their ability to support their children and young people in their difficulties. Lisa also provides support to parents of infants and toddlers. Lisa’s style is transparent, supportive and gently challenging.

  • MA(Clin)
  • MPhil(Social & Developmental Psychology)
  • PhD (University of London)

Accreditations

  • Board Approved Supervisor

Certifications

  • Endorsed Clinical Psychologist (AHPRA)
  • Mentalization based therapy for Children
  • Mentalization based therapy for Children (MBT-C) accredited

Fees/Services

  • Clinical Consultation with a Clinical Psychologist for a Child or Adolescent 4-10 Years of Age
  • Initial Appointment for Child Client Medicare 80010 Adolescent aged 11-17 years
