Dr Lidija Jovanovic Psychologist (Provisional)

Lidia describes her approach as client-centred, with a goal to develop a relationship with each client that is based on honesty, openness and trust. She is committed to support clients identify their strengths, and gain skills, courage, and resilience when dealing with life challenges. She has a warm, practical, and non-judgemental style, and tailors her approach to client’s individual and unique needs. ​ Lidia’s work draws on evidence-based and insight-oriented therapeutic approaches that have been empirically validated to improve emotional well-being and resilience. She’s been trained in Cognitive Behavioural (CBT), Interpersonal (IPT), Dialectical Behavioural (DBT) and Narrative Therapies, and draws on variety of models such as attachment, brain-body connections, and mindfulness.
