Overview

Dr Kymbra Clayton obtained her PhD in Psychology from Macquarie University focusing on the effects of childhood trauma, and dissociative identity and completed her Masters in Clinical Psychology looking at ethical dilemmas. She has experience in across the lifespan psychology. Her special interest areas include attachment issues and personality disorders, childhood trauma, LGBTI, grief and loss, child/adolescent and parents, adult counselling and family therapy. She also has interest in learning difficulties and intellectual assessments. Kymbra is a registered provider for Victims Services. Kymbra is a clinical family therapist, and has formal training in EMDR and Clinical Hypnosis. Kymbra also is an accredited supervisor of psychologists and psychologists in training.
