I completed my PhD in psychology at work by researching the influence of context on performance. Six years of psychological studies and a one-year internship allowed me to become an endorsed psychologist. I am registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a member of the Australian Association of Psychologists Inc (AAPi). With an MBA, I am a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management (AIM) and a member of the Australian HR Institute (AHRI). My training in several evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, and Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), together with Psychological First Aid, Disaster Mental Health Counselling and work experience, allow me to partner with an array of clients in English and Afrikaans.
I serviced several industries, such as the Defense Force, Financial Institutions, Mining, Government, and Higher Education. My workplace psychology in practice provides experiences in supporting people over a broad spectrum like veterans and educationalists. I’m keen to work with people experiencing work stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, post-traumatic stress, and those that want to become more mindful and seeking career advice.
