Overview

Dr. Jeremy Adams has a multidimensional background that includes a Ph.D. in Sport and Exercise psychology, a clinical postdoctoral fellowship in Chemical Dependency, and a Graduate Diploma in Health Psychology. Jeremy has recently returned to Australia after 10 years in the USA, France, and the UK where he consulted to organisations, ran a private psychology practice, and directed an MSc in Sport and Performance psychology. In his capacity as a registered psychologist, Jeremy has provided CBT and ACT (see below), for motivational and performance enhancement and behavioural change, with a wide range of clients. He also has substantial experience in the assessment and treatment of chemical and behavioural addictions, and has published in excess of 10 professional papers in this area. Jeremy has an integrated, person-centred approach to psychotherapy that includes: Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) Rational emotive behavioural therapy (REBT) Mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT) Jeremy will work with you to help you find the best solution to improving your current situation and to continue to improve in the future.
