Hi, I'm Frank, a clinical psychologist and board-approved supervisor. I work with individuals and couples, focusing on ADHD, adjustment disorders, life transitions, anxiety, depression, grief, OCD, trauma/PTSD, issues of LGBTQIA+ people, relationship issues and relationship ambivalence. In individual therapy, I use a range of approaches, including CBT, LGBTQIA+ affirmative therapy, mindfulness, exposure therapy, and relational therapy. I also offer couple-sensitive individual therapy focusing on relational dynamics and patterns. In couples therapy, I focus on changing interactional patterns related to communication, conflict, intimacy, loyalty, roles, values, and more, with an emphasis on systemic approaches. In discernment counselling, I work with married couples on the brink—where one spouse is leaning out of the relationship and the other is leaning in. The goal is to gain clarity and confidence about the direction of the marriage based on a deeper understanding of what has happened to the marriage and each partner's contributions to the issues. My working languages are English and German, and I also speak Spanish.
