Ellie has completed the equivalent of a Master of Psychology, a Graduate Certificate in Education and a PhD from the University of Queensland. She is trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivatonal Interviewing, Mindfulness and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). She is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS).
Ellie has experience working with a diverse range of clients, particularly from multicultural backgrounds and women of all walks of life. Ellie adopts several evidence based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). Most importantly, Ellie treats everyone in an empathetic and non-judgmental way with her down-to-earth nature and approach to therapy. She is committed to helping her clients discover their unique strengths to overcome the challenges they may face in their life journey. Ellie has been working with many clients to achieve their personal goals through counseling.
