Dr Barot is a fellow of the FRANZCP and holds a fellowship certificate for advance training in Psychiatry of Old age. They have significant experience in general adult as well as old age psychiatry.
Dr Barot work across 3 different hospitals in metropolitan as well as rural areas. Also, he has worked in different clinical settings including both inpatient and community.
Currently, he is working at Cumberland hospital (Western Sydney LHD), Nepean hospital (Nepean- Blue Mountain LHD) as well as Wagga hospital (Murrumbidgee LHD), where he does fly-in & fly-out once a week and provide services to adult population. This provides him admitting rights to all these hospitals as well.
Dr Barot also has an interest in early psychosis and has previously worked in Early psychosis intervention team in public hospital’s community setting.
He has keen interest in early psychosis as well in geriatric psychiatry including neurocognitive disorders.
