Overview

Connie is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker with 25 years’ experience providing counselling. She provides adults, couples and families with safe, respectful, empowering, trauma-informed, neurodiverse affirming, LGTBIQA+ supporting, non-judgemental and evidence-based therapy so you can adapt and integrate new ways to understand, learn and live. Connie embraces the richness of individual differences while co-creating new narratives with clients through therapy. Therapeutic approaches include Narrative Therapy, Psychodynamic, Feminist and Systems approaches, CBT / ACT mindfulness, couples and family therapy. Connie is a Victorian leader in responding to family violence and disasters and is a continuing researcher at the University of Melbourne. Outside of work Connie can be found hanging out at the beach, going on very slow jogs, or reading / listening to a good book. Ideally all three at once.
