Dr Clinton Colaco is an Infectious Diseases Physician with a specialist interest in General and Acute Medicine. He completed his MBBS at Bond University and a Master of Medicine (Internal Medicine) at the University of Sydney, along with the Gorgas Course and a Diploma in Tropical Medicine and Hygiene through the University of Alabama at Birmingham and the Alexander von Humboldt Tropical Medicine Institute in Lima. He trained across Western and South-West Sydney hospitals before completing a postgraduate fellowship in Advanced Therapeutics at Westmead Hospital. He currently works as a Staff Specialist in Acute Medicine at The Canberra and North Canberra Hospitals, and holds Visiting Medical Officer and Consultant Physician appointments across private facilities in Sydney, Canberra and Rockhampton, alongside video telehealth consultations available Australia-wide. He is actively involved in clinical research, including a PhD examining the value of Telehealth Medicine in outpatient care in regional Queensland, and holds academic appointments as a Senior Clinical Lecturer with the University of Queensland and a lecturer at the University of Sydney.
