Overview
Dr Charana Perera is a Consultant Psychiatrist and a Fellow
of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of
Psychiatrists (FRANZCP).
He has a special interest in anxiety disorders and OCD, PTSD,
mood disorders, psychotic disorders,
transcultural mental health as well as assessment and
management of substance use disorders.
Committed to research and education, Dr Charana Perera
has delivered multiple presentations at international forums
and published in peer-reviewed journals.
After serving in Queensland public mental health sector
for 10 years, Dr Perera has joined Pine Rivers Private Hospital, Strathpine, QLD 4500,
as a full-time psychiatrist delivering both in-patient and
out-patient care.
