Thank you for considering working with me. Everyone needs help at different times in their life, and I'm glad you're taking steps to making things better. I am looking forward to getting to know you, and helping you get to where you want to be in life. I don't like the 'medical' model of psychological therapy, with 'disorders' and 'deficits' - instead as a practitioner of Positive Psychology I look for the strengths in my clients, and will help you realise how to use your personal resources ('superpowers') to thrive! When working with someone new, I like to find out about the 'whole' person (not simply the issue you are currently facing), and will tailor my therapeutic processes to suit you. I will encourage you to set your personal goals, and use my psychological knowledge and practical strategies to help you achieve these. I want to help bring about meaningful and sustainable change, and give you skills and resources to live life well.
