I work with individuals experiencing a variety of concerns, including low mood, anxiety, trauma-related distress, relationship problems, stressful life transitions, and grief and loss. I have a particular interest in working with adults experiencing psychological concerns related to acute and chronic medical illness, such as fibromyalgia, physical injury, cancer, diabetes, and organ transplantation.
I strongly believe that positive therapeutic rapport - the relationship between you and your psychologist - is essential to provide a safe and supportive space in which concerns can be shared, understood, and overcome. I aim to work long-term with clients, allowing time and space to develop a shared and holistic understanding of individuals and their experiences.
I utilise a variety of evidence-based treatments, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), interpersonal psychology, and schema therapy.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, gardening, photography, playing piano, writing, and reading.
