Overview

Trained in United Kingdom and Australia, Azhani works collaboratively to formulate comprehensive formulations and individualise treatment to maximise functioning of patients with chronic illness that span all age ranges. She is empathic and experienced in a multitude of interventions, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Schema Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, and other modalities. Her has extensive experience in the assessment and treatment of many psychological difficulties such as anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma, adjustment disorders, oncology, and chronic illnesses and chronic fatigue syndrome. She is also LGBTIQ and gender friendly. Azhani has extensive experience in working with the underprivileged, diverse, and international populations at the University of Sydney and across three tertiary hospitals in WA and NSW. Azhani is currently focusing on the study of health psychology, with specific interests in Adolescent and Young Adult mental health in Oncology.
