Amanda practices from our Armadale Clinic. She holds a Doctor of Psychology (Clinical) degree. Her professional experience includes treatment of anxiety and depression at a specialist clinic, providing psychological services for medical inpatients, and facilitating day programs delivering Dialectical Behaviour Therapy. Amanda has worked in a range of settings in public and private healthcare across Melbourne. She is passionate about providing evidence-based treatment to support clients in reaching their goals.
With a research background in cross-cultural psychology, Amanda enjoys working with adults from a range of cultural backgrounds. She is particularly interested in working with anxiety disorders, depression, adjustment difficulties, trauma, and difficulties with emotion regulation. Amanda's therapeutic approach combines elements of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), including mindfulness.
