I am a qualified social worker accredited with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW). I have recently opened Desert Pea Therapy to provide private counselling and NDIS services to people living in country areas. I have over a decade of experience working in Australia and internationally, with children and young people, Aboriginal and CALD communities, mental health, child protection, domestic violence and vulnerable families. Throughout my career, I have worked intensively with people who live with disabilities to support them in reaching their life goals. I have undergone additional training in supporting people who live with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Intellectual Disability, and those who have experienced emotional trauma. While I am based in Whyalla, I am able to travel to other locations in South Australia and can work with people face-to-face or through a blended approach that includes face-to-face and video conferencing.
