Denise is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist with years of experience working with children and families in Sydney, rural and remote areas in Australia. She is passionate about client-centred care that she emphasises on the collaboration with her clients when delivering evidence-based speech therapy services. She prioritises on developing strong therapeutic relationships with her clients which is crucial in achieving positive treatment outcomes.  Coming from a multilingual background herself, together with her undergraduate studies in English linguistics, language acquisition and multilingualism, Denise has a special interest in supporting multilingual families in Australia. She believes in the importance of preserving her clients' home languages and cultures, and at the same time supporting their communication development and learning needs in the Australian context. Denise is able to offer speech pathology assessment and therapy in one-on-one and group setting, parent and teacher's training and telehealth. Her clinical interests include language, speech sounds, literacy, social skills, stuttering and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC).
