Deeni Betar-Young Dietitian

Deeni is an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) and Accredited Nutritionist (AN) here to educate, motivate and inspire you to be your healthiest and happiest self. Deeni became a dietitian to merge three of her major passions: food, science and helping people! She is a firm believer in using food to nourish the body and mind, and doesn't believe that eating needs to be restrictive or boring in order to be healthy. She uses realistic nutrition strategies based on scientific evidence and suited to each individual. Her specialties include heart disease, gastrointestinal disorders, sustainable weight management, vegan/vegetarian nutrition and diabetes. She is also skilled in the management of food allergies / intolerances, renal and liver disease and malnutrition. Deeni loves getting creative in the kitchen and using friends & family as her taste-testing guinea pigs. She's an avid nature lover who goes hiking at every opportunity.
