Denis O’Hara is an experienced counsellor and educator. Dr O’Hara is a university lecturer in counselling and psychology and has combined his practice of psychotherapy with his academic role for over 30 years. He enjoys working with adolescents and adults as well as couples, and draws on evidence-based approaches for a range of difficulties such as anxiety, stress, depression, trauma, self-esteem, life transitions, and relationships issues. Dr O’Hara works with the present-day experiences in an integrative manner and seeks to deepen an understanding of presenting issues and to identify steps towards increased wellbeing.
