Dan is a knowledgeable psychotherapist, practicing mental health coach and meditation teacher, with an academic background in psychology and experience working in the consumer mental health space. He holds expertise in mindfulness and wellbeing, and utilises a range of techniques including mindfulness-based stress reduction, motivational interviewing, explorative inquiry and values-based work. Dan offers a humanistic, person centred approach. He facilitates a collaborative relationship with clients for them to explore and build a pathway towards greater meaning and fulfilment in their lives. He has experienced and worked through his own life challenges, and therefore relates to the importance of compassion, empathy and unconditional positive regard. ​ Dan specialises in working with busy, stressed out people, by helping them find a renewed sense of balance in their lives. Dave is an experienced social worker and mental health clinician. He has experience with supporting children, youth, adults and older adults with a range of issues, including personality issues such as trauma-related difficulties, post-traumatic stress (PTSD), emotional regulation challenges, ADHD, anxiety and depression. He is passionate about assisting clients with longstanding interpersonal and personality difficulties, relationship issues, the management of symptoms from trauma and helping clients to develop strategies to match their concerns. Dave works primarily with trauma-focused therapies including Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Schema Therapy. He also draws from other therapies, including Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Attachment-Based approaches. Dave sees clients privately and his fee is $134 for a standard 50 minute session.

Nick is an experienced mental health practitioner, with extensive training in counselling, psychotherapy, social work and mindfulness. Having worked with a wide range of people, including youth, adolescents and families, he is well equipped to support his clients in responding effectively to a wide range of life’s challenges. Nick specialises in treating stress, anxiety and depression but also has experience in the treatment of relationship issues, problem gambling and drug and alcohol addiction. He uses a range of psychological techniques, including Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR). Costs per session: With a valid Mental Health Treatment Plan the out of pocket cost per session is $130.90. If you don't use a Mental Health Treatment Plan you're not eligible for a Medicare rebate of $77.80, which means the cost per session is $208.

Mr Shannon Bowman

Shannon uses Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), mindfulness strategies and a variety of other psychological techniques to change your relationship with trauma, anxiety, depression or addictions. He works at a deep level to help you create lasting change and feel contentment with your life. The required length of appointments will vary depending on what the client is wanting to achieve. Shannon is available to provide longer sessions for people wanting to do EMDR work in an intensive format. During your first appointment, which will be a standard 50 minutes, you will be able to collaboratively identify which will be the best approach for your circumstances. Costs per session: With a valid Mental Health Treatment Plan the out of pocket cost per session is $130.90.
