Dr Susan Kennedy is a senior clinical psychologist specialising in evidence-based treatment of anxiety (e.g. excessive worry, fear, & shyness) and related problems (e.g. stress, depression, & difficulties with sleep, social skills, self -esteem, bullying, & transition/adjustment) in children, adolescents, and adults.
Susan has over 20 years experience in hospital and community-based child and adolescent psychiatry (6 years as Director of the Child & Adolescent Anxiety Clinic at Royal North Shore Hospital), and as clinician and researcher, with children and adults, in the Centre for Emotional Health (Anxiety Research Unit) at Macquarie University. She has supervised trainee psychologists and psychiatrists, and conducted numerous workshops on anxiety disorders. Susan’s research into anxiety prevention and treatment has been published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at national and international conferences.
