My experience started with voluntary work as a student doing telephone counselling at Lifeline and Queensland AIDS Council for 3 years. After graduation I worked as a psychologist 8 years in 2 mens’ prisons, developing a broad range of skills, then 2 years with employment services, 1 year at Centrelink, and 8 years teaching psychology and social work students with the University of Qld. I started this counselling practice in March 2008 in central Ipswich, and soon after, some sessions at home (Bellbird Park). Also I have worked at Flinders Peak Medical Centre Purga and Raceview before finding my sweet spot at Redbank Plaza Medical around 5 years ago, as well as my comfortable home office. My practice is now part time at around 14-16 sessions per week.
