Overview

Christina is a Clinical Psychologist with over 20 years of experience in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of children, young people and families with emotional and behavioural difficulties. She is an endorsed and registered clinical supervisor, an approved Medicare provider, Honorary Associate of Macquarie University, and a Member of the Australian Association of Cognitive and Behaviour Therapy (AACBT) NSW. She uses a range of modalities including a systemic approach, attachment-based therapies, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She is also accredited to run a number of evidence-based groups to facilitate both children and teenage positive parenting (such as Triple P) and groups to support children of separated families (such as Banana Splits). Services provided include: • Early identification and support of developmental, behavioural and mental health concerns • Social difficulties, building resilience and making friends • Assertiveness training and self-esteem building • Mental illness such as Anxiety Disorders and Mood Disorders • Trauma (acute, chronic or PTSD related) • Attachment and co-regulation support • Stress and emotional regulation support • Parenting strategies and education • Collaboration with family members, schools and other treating professionals as appropriate
