Dr. Anuradha Ellepola, AKA Anu, is a compassionate, empathetic, patient, caring, respectful and versatile psychiatrist. Having his psychiatry training in Sri Lanka, Queensland and Melbourne, Anu is known for his good observing, listening and communication skills. His understanding of other cultures in therapeutic administration is exceedingly important. Anu communicates fluidly in both English and Sinhalese.
His encounter at Monash Mental Health, Melbourne since 2022, exposed him to a multitude of mental health conditions, both inpatient and community, over a tremendous extend of diverse populaces. Since his exposure to and experience in mental health in 2007, he developed special intrigue in old age psychiatry while managing general adult psychiatry conditions.
Anu competently manages common adult (over 18 years of age) and geriatric psychiatry (over 65 years) disorders such as depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, bipolar affective disorder, adult ADHD and dementia. He does not lean toward to manage child and adolescent mental health conditions, forensic psychiatry conditions and personality disorders.
