Caitlin Antoon Psychologist

Caitlin Antoon Clinical Psychology Wahroonga, New South Wales, 2076

Overview

Hi there, my name is Caitlin, and I'm a Clinical Psychologist offering telehealth and face to face sessions at my clinic in Wahroonga village, right at the station. I offer before and after school/work time slots. I also offer a free 15 minute call if you have further questions or want to see if we click. While I take mental health seriously, I try not to take myself or life too seriously. Therapy is effortful, taxing and hard, so it is important for my patients to feel as comfortable as possible in this process. The types of presentations I work with are varied and I work with patients across the lifespan (young teenagers, couples, families, adults and older adults). I am most experienced in mood disorders (depression and anxiety, OCD, social anxiety etc), trauma (complex or PTSD), neurodiversity (e.g. ADHD, ASD) and finally sexual dysfunction. I also have five years of experience working in a weight clinic that has helped me develop specialised knowledge in body image problems, low self-esteem, addiction, bariatric issues and a wide spectrum of eating disorders. While I work within many different treatment modalities, I prioritise the therapeutic relationship, as evidence suggests a strong relationship predicts the best outcomes for patients. Availability: Monday and Thursday (8am - 6pm, face to face). Every second Wednesday (12 - 6pm, face to face). Friday (9am - 3pm, online only). Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions. I look forward to hearing from you.
