The Adult & Child Counsellor prioritises a safe, non-judgmental, and playful space for adults and children. Strategies are tailored to individual goals and interests, using narrative, art, movement, percussion, play, and somatic processing. Qualifications in Counselling enables use of various techniques, including trauma and attachment-informed methods, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Mindfulness, with Solution-focussed and Strengths-based approaches. Well trained in neuroscience and neuroplasticity research, the adult & child counsellor believes in the brain's capacity to rewire old pathways, offering hope for reworking chronic pain, past trauma and anxiety.
