Matthew offers counselling services in the Perth CBD and Rockingham. Matthew’s natural, sensitive approach lends itself to constructing and holding spaces that allow clients to be reflective in a safe environment, carefully moving at the pace the client sets. Matthew integrates Psychodynamic, Inter-personal, Attachment and Emotionally Focussed (EFT) therapies, creating an approach which allows clients to explore their lives and relationships. Matthew has spent a portion of his counselling history working with youth at Headspace. He has also had experience working in a host of group environments, including youth programs, schools, families, projects in the disability sector and with prisoners. He is deeply motivated by his clients’ core needs, infinitely interested in their stories and deeply humbled by the personal nature of the work. Nick offers clinical supervision and counselling for individual clients (not presently taking couples) in West Perth, Rockingham and Online. He is an exceptionally skilled and compassionate counsellor and psychotherapist with over 20 years’ professional experience. Nick has a substantial background in both private practice and the community health and education sectors. Nick’s approach is warm, nonjudgmental and respectful: his gentle demeanor and method of counselling creates a safe and trusting environment for his clients to explore their concerns. Even in the most overwhelming of circumstances, Nick’s clients find his calm and insightful support helpful in moving through life’s challenges with a sense of confidence and hope. Cal offers counselling solutions in the Perth CBD and Rockingham. Cal is a compassionate counsellor with extensive experience working with couples, adults, young adults and families. She is a member of CCAA. Her approach is respectful, non-judgemental and empathetic, which ensures her clients experience a safe environment in which to grow and experience positive change. She strongly advocates an integrated, holistic approach that enables her clients to address areas of concern such as relational issues, depression, anxiety, and anger management. Cal is passionate about providing relationship counselling that empowers clients to make genuine, lasting and positive changes in their lives while ensuring that unhealthy patterns are resolved. She is genuine, insightful and caring and strives to ensure that the counselling experience leads to a positive outcome. Change and growth is realised by understanding reactions, accepting them, and learning to modify them as necessary. Cal is committed to a collaborative therapeutic relationship where clients are encouraged to discover achievable ways forward that improve emotional and psychological wellbeing and improvement in relationships and family life. mrs Libby Rodwell

Elisabeth 'Libby' Rodwell is a registered psychologist in Rockingham. She receives direct bookings from clients and can also offer GP referred, Mental Health Treatment Plans (MHTP).  Libby has NDIS-disabilities sector and Employee Assistance Program (EAP) experience. She is competent working with trauma, ADHD and ASD, and Couples Counselling across therapy modes. Libby also has a background in coaching, government, teamwork, contract management, Not-for-profit and Behavioural Research. Libby has had relevant training and qualifications for Education settings and general practice. Graduate of Bachelor of Psychology and Master of International Relations, Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and Teaching English as a Second or Other Language (TESOL). She Demonstrated history of working in the environmental services and 'safe systems' areas. Libby is a new member of our team at Breathe Counselling in Rockingham and brings with her a wealth of experience and knowledge. Her therapeutic knowledge and ability is made real and accessible to clients through her  personable and genuine nature. Libby offer face to face and online counselling appointments to her clients. Mrs Jade Lim

Counsellor

Jade is an integrative, person-centred counsellor and psychotherapist. She applies a range of appropriate therapeutic approaches in her practice according to the needs of her clients. In consideration of personal context and environment, Jade draws upon Gestalt, Emotionally Focused (EFT), Attachment styles, Trauma Informed Practice and Narrative therapies. Building genuine rapport and strong alliances with her clients, Jade champions those she works with for the purpose of helping them reach their goals. Jade is particularly interested in supporting those suffering grief, loss and trauma. She has supported women from family and domestic violence and in offering mediation and pre and post-pregnancy care. As a long-term migrant in Australia, she values culture, diversity and inclusivity and has weaved her journey through the complexities of social and cultural issues in this ever-evolving landscape. A parent of two teens and a young adult, Jade is happy to share parenting insights and experiences. After a significant history in operational and client services roles, Jade turned toward her passion and niche to support people in their mental health and well-being journeys. Jade has also had many years of experience volunteering in charities and local community organisations.
