Fathima Shaha Hussain
Msc.Counselling & Psychotherapy
PG Dip Integrated Counselling
When you choose to work with Fathima, you enter a safe, respectful and collaborative space where your experiences are valued without judgment. She uses an integrated approach to counselling, drawing primarily from Transactional Analysis (TA) and the Person-Centered approach to support you in gaining deeper self-awareness and creating meaningful change.
Through Transactional Analysis, she helps you explore patterns in your thoughts, behaviours and relationships, including early messages, roles and life scripts that may be influencing your current challenges. Together, you identify unhelpful patterns and work toward healthier, more autonomous ways of relating to yourself and others.
Grounded in the Person-Centered approach, she offers empathy, authenticity and unconditional positive regard. You are recognised as the expert of your own life. Her role is to walk alongside you, helping you access your strengths, insight and your natural capacity for growth.
She has undertaken specialised workshops and professional training in Suicide Prevention, Pre-marital and Marital counselling, Couples counselling, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT) and Transactional Analysis (TA). This ongoing professional development strengthens her ability to provide structured, evidence-informed and ethically grounded support.
Each session is tailored to your individual needs, whether you are navigating anxiety, relationship concerns, life transitions, self-esteem difficulties or emotional overwhelm. The work is collaborative, thoughtfully structured where needed and always guided by your goals and pace.
You can expect a professional and confidential environment where you feel heard, supported and empowered to move forward with clarity and confidence.
