Welcome to Bloom Beyond Counselling.
I'm Helen Uba, an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker (AMHSW), SIRA-approved practitioner and NSW Victims Services Approved Counsellor, based in Armidale, NSW.
I provide mental health counselling for individuals aged 16 and over, supporting people experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, relationship difficulties, grief and loss, alcohol and other drug challenges, burnout and life transitions.
My approach is warm, practical and trauma-informed. I draw on evidence-based therapies, including CBT, DBT-informed strategies, ACT and Internal Family Systems (IFS), tailoring sessions to your individual needs and goals.
I also offer external professional supervision for social workers and practitioners working in mental health, AOD, youth and community services.
**Appointments are available via secure telehealth across Australia, with face-to-face sessions in Armidale by arrangement.**
Medicare rebates are available for eligible counselling clients with a valid GP Mental Health Treatment Plan and referral. Private appointments are also welcome.

Based in Armidale, NSW, Helen provides telehealth counselling across Australia, with face-to-face appointments available locally by arrangement. Medicare rebates are available for eligible clients with a Mental Health Treatment Plan.
Faith-integrated counselling is also available for clients who request it.
