Mrs Alicia Falzon

Counsellor

I am a clinical family therapist and counsellor and am passionate about helping families and individuals understand themselves in their relationships as they travel through life. My aim is to help you explore your individual experience, through your important relationships, to gain a bigger picture of the disruptions in your life that create tension and are painful. This is a holistic approach that may involve looking at your family life, work life and friendships. If there is an imbalance in this network of relationships your health may also be affected. Everybody at some stage in their life needs a coach to help them navigate their way through some stressful lifecycles, gain or retrain in skills for better wellbeing and healthier relationships. As well as working with families, I work with individuals and couples in all relationships and consider what’s important to each individual. Because families can be a source of tension it is helpful to learn how to navigate life with them with less reactivity. In working towards calmer relationships sometimes the work needs to be with the husband and wife, mother and daughter or father and son. As well as my skills as a marriage counsellor I am knowledgeable in the related issues of mental health.
