Biarta trained and worked as a medical doctor in paediatrics for many years, with a passion for social medicine she has now transitioned into the role of Complex Clinical Coordination focusing on children and families involved in child projection and the out-of-home care system. With a strong medical background and experience in child development, child protection, adolescent health and mental health. Biarta brings a comprehensive, systems-based approach to her work, addressing the complex biopsychosocial needs of children who have experienced trauma and attachment disruption . Her case consultation and clinical coordination involves not only understanding the medical and psychological challenges faced by these children but also considering their social environment, family dynamics, and past experiences to provide holistic, individualized care plans. Biarta is dedicated to fostering stability and healing by working collaboratively with children/young people, parents, caregivers, case workers and other key stakeholders from OOHC, education, health, NDIS and justice systems, ensuring that each child receives the integrated support they need to thrive.
