Helen is a compassionate, wise and gentle soul who takes a client-centred approach in her counselling work. She supports individuals, couples and families experiencing anxiety, stress, burnout, grief, relationship challenges, and those preparing for marriage. She is dedicated to helping her clients gain clarity, resilience, healing and a renewed sense of direction during life’s more challenging seasons. Her work draws on a range of counselling modalities, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Positive Psychology, Gottman’s Couples Counselling, Prepare and Enrich and Christian counselling. Helen takes a holistic approach that considers the mind, body, and spirit, believing that meaningful and lasting change occurs when the whole person is supported rather than focusing solely on symptoms. Her additional training includes a focus on Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), Milan Systemic Therapy, Grief and Loss, Burnout Recovery and Workplace Wellbeing. Having migrated to Australia in 2003, she has a lived experience within a migrant community and is deeply committed to supporting individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds. She understands the complexities of multicultural experiences and the unique challenges faced by immigrants and those in multicultural marriages. Helen holds a Level 8 Graduate Diploma in Counselling and Integrative Psychotherapy and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She is a member of the Christian Counsellors Association of Australia (CCAA) and the Australian Counsellors Association (ACA). She also holds qualifications in accounting and business. Her professional experience includes working with organisations such as Pregnancy Problem House and the Organisational Counselling Employee Assistance Program. Helen brings a wealth of professional and personal experience and offers a safe, supportive, and respectful space where clients can feel heard and supported as they work toward healing, growth, and meaningful change.

Ms Narelle Williams

Counsellor

Narelle is a highly skilled, trauma-informed and compassionate counsellor, family therapist and clinical supervisor. With over twenty years of experience, she has supported many individuals, couples, and families navigating emotional distress, grief & loss, trauma, and the impact of painful adverse life experiences. She is known for her warmth, sensitivity, insight, and authenticity. Her passions include walking alongside those seeking healing from childhood emotional neglect & abuse, grief and loss, post-abortion, depression and anxiety and those carrying the often-unseen burden of caring for others. She also loves supporting couples facing relationship challenges, including conflict, betrayal, intimacy concerns, disconnection, and deep heartache. She is deeply committed to empowering people to live meaningful and authentic lives, aligned with their values and supported by healthy relationships within well-functioning family systems. Narelle is a particularly creative therapist, grounded in evidence-based practice, who draws from an extensive range of modalities, including Schema Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Creative Expressive Therapy (including art and sand tray therapy), Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Neuropsychotherapy, Positive Psychology, Systemic Family Therapy, Gottman Therapy, Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, Transactional Analysis Therapy, Attachment Therapy and the Grief Recovery Method Model. She also teaches Somatic and Mindfulness-Based Stillness Meditation practices individually and in groups. Narelle tailors her approach to each client, creating a safe and supportive space for healing and growth. She holds Level 8 AQF postgraduate qualifications in Counselling and Family Therapy, including a Graduate Diploma in Counselling and Integrated Psychotherapy, and a Bachelor Degree in Agribusiness. She is due to complete her Masters of Counselling in 2026. Narelle’s qualifications are PACFA-accredited, and she is a member of the Christian Counsellors Association of Australia (CCAA), the Australian Counselling Association (ACA), and the ACA College of Supervisors. Her professional experience includes working with organisations such as Healing Hearts Ministries International and Pregnancy Problem House, as well as tutoring with the Australian Institute of Family Counselling (AIFC). In addition to her clinical work, Narelle offers professional supervision to other counsellors, drawing on her extensive professional and life experience.
