She has held senior clinical and leadership roles in major maternity services and currently works as a Clinical Teaching Specialist at Flinders University. Zoe Sever (she/her) is a clinical nurse, researcher, and accredited sexologist, committed to advancing sexual and reproductive health and rights. With a multifaceted background in both clinical practice and academic research, Zoe has become a leading voice in these fields. After completing her nursing training, she pursued research honours and worked as a clinical research nurse and coordinator at top medical institutions. She later earned a Master’s in Sexual and Reproductive Health from the University of Sydney and is a proud member of the Society of Australian Sexologists Ltd. Zoe has contributed groundbreaking research to peer-reviewed medical journals on sexual health and digital therapies, shaping the discourse on these critical issues. In 2022, she founded Esme Health, an impact-driven consulting firm dedicated to promoting scientifically rigorous best practices in the FemTech and SexTech industries. As a clinical and scientific advisor, Zoe has guided over 15 high-growth companies, ensuring they prioritize evidence-based approaches. She also serves as a mentor at FemTech Lab and has held roles such as board member at the Oxfordshire Sexual Abuse and Rape Crisis Centre and as part of the World Economic Forum’s Global Shapers Community in Lausanne.
