Over the past 28 years, I have been working as a physiotherapist, a clinical exercise physiologist, a researcher and a lecturer in different educational and healthcare settings in Australia, Ukraine and Saudi Arabia. I worked for Australian Defence Force (Army and Navy); for acute public and private hospitals; for private physio clinics and general practices; primary health care; sports, dancing & fitness clubs including disability sports; for National University of Physical Education and Sport (Kiev, Ukraine) and The University of Queensland. Having a thorough knowledge of human physiology and biomechanics, I deeply understand, that no single cell in the body works on its own, but in co-operation with other cells, tissues, organs and systems. Therefore, I never treat a "faulty" body part in isolation. Health education is the central part of my treatment, with main focus on healthy lifestyle choices, such as nutrition, gait and postural corrections, stress management, choice of leisure activities, and identifying other possible barriers contributing to your aches & pains, inflammation or poor healing. I use strong and efficient, but pain-free hands-on techniques, as well as cupping, dry needling, massage, electrotherapy and exercise prescription.
