Arishna is a warm and empathic Psychologist with over 15 years experience treating a broad range of issues and clinical presentations including, anxiety, depression, PTSD, complex trauma, grief and loss, transition and adjustment issues, self-esteem and confidence issues, anger management, and addictions.
Arishna holds empathy, compassion and transparency as core values in her practice, and brings with her a nurturing attitude promoting insight and growth, by providing a non-judgemental and supportive space for individuals to better understand and manage their experiences. She utilises a range of therapeutic modalities to best suit an individual’s needs, including:

In addition to private practice, Arishna has worked at St John of God Hospital, where she co-ordinated the DBT Programs. Here she worked in a multidisciplinary team providing assessments, alongside individual and group therapy, in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
Arishna has a special interest in treating mood disorders particularly in the context of Borderline Personality Disorder and Complex PTSD.
