At ARC we specialise in providing intervention to help children, adolescents, adults and families to be strong, resilient and connected.
With over 20 years experience, services are provided by Clinical Psychologist, Megan Jones. Megan has a broad experience across a number of adult and child contexts, including child and family mental health, adult mental health, fostering and adoption, and youth offending. Megan works to cultivate a safe, relaxed and confidential environment. She has a strong commitment to use evidence-based assessment tools and therapies and treats her clients with compassion, nurturance and respect in order to help yield effective and long-lasting positive change.
Comprehensive assessments and tailored interventions are provided to support clients for a variety of presenting concerns including, but not limited to:
• Anxiety Disorders (GAD, OCD, Phobias, Social Anxiety, PTSD, Panic)
• Depression
• Eating Disorders
• Behavioural problems such as aggression, difficulties with compliance, tantrums and emotional regulation.

A range of therapeutic approaches are used to support clients achieve their goals including: Behaviour Therapy, Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, Schema Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mentalisation Based Therapy (MBT), Attachment-based therapies, Play Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Emotion Coaching.
