Camilla Franklin

Psychologist

Camilla is a registered psychologist currently completing a Master of Clinical Psychology (Post-Registration). As part of this training, she is undertaking a supervised placement working with children, adolescents, and their families experiencing a wide range of challenges. Camilla brings extensive prior experience supporting adults in both public mental health and private practice settings and is currently expanding her work with children, adolescents, and families under clinical supervision. She aims to create a warm, safe, and collaborative therapeutic space where children and adolescents feel comfortable exploring their thoughts, feelings, and experiences at their own pace. Camilla uses evidence-based approaches tailored to each young person’s developmental needs, including CBT, ACT, EMDR, Schema Therapy, and skills-based, trauma-informed, and family-inclusive strategies to support meaningful change at home, school, and in relationships. Camilla is committed to providing inclusive and affirming care, and welcomes neurodivergent, gender-diverse, and LGBTQIA+ young people. Appropriate Referrals Include: Anxiety, low mood, emotional regulation difficulties, school-related stress and adjustment, family and interpersonal challenges, behavioural difficulties, life transitions, developmental trauma, self-harm and suicidal ideation, grief and loss, phobias, OCD, identity related concerns, LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergence.

Lauren is a compassionate and dedicated Psychologist holding a Master of Psychology, working in the mental health space for over 8 years. Lauren has a special interest in the treatment of trauma, especially adult childhood trauma as well as distress experienced throughout a person's life span which can create difficulty in their day-to-day functioning and relationships. With unwavering commitment, she empowers individuals to navigate the complexity of their past experiences, assisting them to facilitate their own healing and personal transformation with realistic goals and outcomes. Using a range of modalities such as; EMDR, Attachment-Focused EMDR, Trauma-Focused CBT, EFT, Interpersonal Family Systems, Coaching, Positive Psychology and holistic approaches, Lauren's career has been shaped by a deep commitment to helping individuals confront and heal from the wounds of their past to head towards growth and healing. I hold qualifications as both a registered psychologist and a registered nurse and have extensive experience working therapeutically with individuals experiencing both acute and chronic symptoms associated with a range of major mental illnesses. I have previously worked in primary health care, forensic and acute mental health care settings, employing individual and group-based treatment methods and am experienced in utilizing motivational and strengths-based approaches to help individuals achieve their personal recovery goals.
