Annemarie Hindle Psychologist

Hello. I’m Annemarie Hindle and I’m a clinical psychologist experienced in evidence-based treatment of eating disorders and disordered eating including binge eating disorder, bulimia nervosa, anorexia nervosa, avoidant restrictive intake disorder, and other eating behaviours that cause distress. I have a special interest in helping people develop calm eating practices and a positive relationship with food and their body. I also work with body image concerns, trauma, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, adult neurodiversity, and supporting people to prepare for and adjust to bariatric-metabolic surgery. I am also actively involved in providing education and conducting research regarding disordered eating in general and the psychological and behavioural aspects of bariatric surgery. I am a member of the Australian Clinical Psychology Association (ACPA), Australian and New Zealand Metabolic and Obesity Surgery Society (ANZMOSS) and Australian and New Zealand Academy of Eating Disorders (ANZAED) and I am a credentialed eating disorder clinician.
