Anne is an experienced registered psychologist, and clinical registrar who has experience working across public, private and educational settings. Anne has worked very successfully over her career with both Adults and Children/Adolescents. Anne has a strong passion for supporting children and young people who present with a range of emotional, behavioural, relational and developmental concerns, including complex presentations.
Anne is trained in completing diagnostic assessments for Autism, ADHD and Learning difficulties. Her therapeutic approach is informed by her knowledge and training in multiple therapies, with specific interests in Polyvagal theory and Interpersonal Neurobiology, and the power of using play and creativity to achieve attunement, neural integration and healthy attachment to enhance overall mental health and wellbeing.
When working with Children and Adolescents, Anne is passionate about providing fun, playful, client led and child centred support. In addition to this Anne’s mature, down to earth and engaging personality has enriched many positive working relationships with her adult clients which often has facilitated very positive outcomes. Anne places a strong emphasis on providing a safe environment to develop a trusting and collaborative relationship, in a neuro-affirming space, supporting individuals to be their authentic selves.
