Alison holds a Master of Arts in Counselling from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, USA. She is also a lecturer at Mary Andrew's College, Sydney, teaching in the Graduate Certificate of Pastoral Care for Mental Health. Alison originally trained and worked as a secondary school teacher, finding her way into counselling through pastoral care roles in a Christian independent school.
