Alice brings over eight years of experience supporting adults, young people, and families across a range of mental health settings, including early intervention services, school wellbeing programs, suicide prevention, community mental health, and family support. She has walked alongside people navigating distress, trauma, suicidality, and complex life challenges, and has also facilitated psycho-educational and therapeutic group programs.
Alice works from a holistic, person-centred approach, gently supporting clients to explore their experiences with curiosity and openness. Rather than focusing only on symptom management, she works with clients to understand what sits underneath their experiences, creating space for deeper insight, self-connection, and meaningful change. Her aim is to help clients feel safe to express themselves, reconnect with their sense of identity and intuition, and move towards greater balance and confidence in their lives.
Alice also offers Animal-Assisted Therapy at Insight Therapies, working alongside her therapy dog, Leo. When appropriate, Leo’s presence can support emotional regulation, increase feelings of safety, and help clients feel more at ease in sessions. This can be particularly helpful for those who find traditional talk-based therapy challenging or who benefit from a more grounded, relational approach.
Connection and empathy are central to Alice’s work. She is committed to creating a calm, respectful, and emotionally safe space where clients feel genuinely heard and supported. Alice works collaboratively, walking alongside each person at their own pace as they navigate change, build understanding, and strengthen their wellbeing.
